Eating Precautions:
Do not eat until anesthesia wears off to prevent accidentally biting your cheek or tongue.
Pain Management:
Soreness is normal; avoid chewing on the treated side and use over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen as needed.
Oral Hygiene:
Brush and floss gently around the treated area to prevent irritation.
Temporary Crown Care:
Avoid sticky or hard foods that could dislodge your temporary crown or filling. Be careful when cleaning around it.
Medication Compliance:
Take prescribed antibiotics as directed to prevent infection.
Monitoring Symptoms:
Mild swelling or tenderness is normal. Contact Smile Studio 87 if pain, swelling, or reactions to medication worsen.
Avoid Certain Habits:
Do not smoke and avoid using straws, which can disrupt healing or dislodge temporary restorations.
Follow-Up Visits:
Return for follow-up appointments to ensure proper healing and proceed with permanent restoration if needed.
