Conservative restorations that protect and preserve your natural teeth

Dental
Inlays and Onlays

Custom restorations for moderately decayed or cracked teeth—more conservative than full crowns.

Preserve Your
Natural Smile

Dental inlays and onlays are precision‑made “partial crowns” used when a tooth needs more support than a filling can offer, but doesn’t yet require a full crown. Dr. Sumayyah Khan and Dr. Maja Sukovic carefully design each restoration to fit your tooth perfectly and blend in with your smile.

How  Inlays & Onlays
Restore Your TOOTH

We gently remove damaged or decayed areas, then take precise digital impressions to create a custom inlay or onlay. Once it’s ready, we bond it securely in place so your tooth is reinforced, comfortable, and looks like it was never damaged at all.

Frequently Asked
Questions

When are inlays or onlays recommended?

accordion-icon

Inlays and onlays are recommended when a tooth is too damaged for a filling but not damaged enough for a crown. They help restore strength and function while preserving more of your natural tooth.

Will my inlay or onlay look noticeable?

accordion-icon

No. Inlays and onlays are custom-made to match your natural tooth color and shape, so they blend in seamlessly.

How long do they last?

accordion-icon

With good care, inlays and onlays can last 10 to 30 years, depending on the material and your oral hygiene.

Is the procedure uncomfortable?

accordion-icon

Not always. We only recommend Phase 1 if early intervention would significantly benefit jaw growth or prevent future complications. Many kids do great with just Phase 2.

Are inlays and onlays covered by insurance?

Yes, many dental insurance plans cover inlays and onlays, especially when they are medically necessary. Your dental provider can check your benefits in advance.
